MCAD

Hi all.

I am considering doing the MCAD certification I have purchased the 'Developing and Implementing Web Applications with Visual Basic.NET and Visual Studio.NET' by Micosoft.

I was wondering if anyone had any tips/pointers for studying for this cert and if there are any modules I need to concentrate on.

[Any advice welcome]

many thanksI used Exam Cram 70-305 book. And a good DUMP.

Good learning tools.
In my opinion the 70-305 isn't the hardest exam in the cert. track. I took and passed the 70-305 exam with relative ease and have very minimal background with asp.net. The Windows App. exam (70-306) is a whole different story. To my surprise the test that I got was revolved very little around code and more about troubleshooting/debugging and distributing. I'm not sure about the Exam Cram book, but I used the Microsoft Press book for the 70-305. Although Exam Crams have never failed me for my MCSE:Security exams. I'm actually putting some of my MCAD, MCSD books on eBay very soon.

Hope I was of help.

70-306 was far easier than 70-305. 70-305 was long.

Helps if you have been working with Win Apps before taking 70-306.

70-310 is just plain hard. Without dumps you are going to fail. You need to be prepared to the full. And then this may still not be enough as I have found out.
Yea I actually took 70-306 several weeks ago, I work at a technical training/testing center so I took it at around 3AM (job pays for my testing) thinking it would be easier than 70-305. I work primarily with web forms.

Yea 70-310 I was looking over some of our courseware for that portion of the class and it looks to be a scary exam, lol.
