meaning of I*net

Hi everyone,

Please can anyone tell me whatI*net means. Does it simply mean using .NET language or does it mean sometime in specifc.

If yes it is a CompTIA i-Net+ certification is an international industry credential that validates the knowledge of technical and non-technical professionals alike with at least six months experience in Internet, Intranet, Extranet and e-commerce technologies.

Actually the name comes along with a job title:|*Net Analyst Developer / graduate / 2nd Jobber)

one of the key relationships specication of the job is descibed like:

Internal distribution user base: All users of application provided by th e|*NET team.

To be honest not quite sure what the second jobber is as well. (Though i know what a jobber is in relation to stock exhange which is what its company is about)

Would appreciate it if you can enlightening me

I*Net isn't a name that means anything outside the organization using it. And for each organization that uses it, it would have a different definition or meaning. The general use in most instances has been for a network that's not intranet, not extranet and not internet, but parts of all three.
